RECALIBRATION

Driving a car with broken or cracked windshield can be extremely dangerous. Not only does it obstruct the driver's vision, but it also weakens the structural integrity of the car and can result in the windshield shattering completely, causing injury to the driver and passengers.

In addition, a damaged windshield can also impair the vehicle's airbag deployment, further increasing the risk of injury in the event of an accident.

Therefore it is crucial to have any windshield damaged repaired or replaced as soon as possible to ensure the safety of everyone on the road

TYPES OF RECALIBRATION
ADAS

WINDSHIELD CAMERA RECALIBRATION (ADAS)

This type of recalibration is done to ensure that the cameras installed in the vehicle are working correctly, which is critical for advanced driver assistance systems.

Static Calibration

STATIC RECALIBRATION

During the process of static recalibration, a fixture with a specific target image needs to be mounted in front of the vehicle. The duration of this recalibration process can vary and typically takes around an hour or more, depending on the type and model of vehicle.

Dynamic Calibration

DYNAMIC RECALIBRATION

To perform dynamic recalibration, the camera system of the vehicle needs to be recalibrated by driving it on well marked roads at a specific speed. The duration of this procedure usually lasts for an hour or more, depending on the vehicle's brand and model.
